North Rocks Markets / by maja baska

I've been going to North Rocks markets since I was 10 years old. Recently I have been going every week and can confess I am an addict. This week I stepped up my addiction by arriving at opening time...6am. I had heard of the hard-core market hunters who religiously arrive at this time, but I was surprised by what these early risers were looking for. Primarily they are searching for old tools. They gather around the stalls selling tools, before they are fully unpacked, and dig away. I would like to blog about this more regularly and am excited to meet the other addicts, wheelers and dealers, hunters and antique enthusiasts. The Carlingford Rotary Club markets are on every Sunday at  North Rocks Deaf and Blind School from 7am-1pm.
