Party Boom

1000 pies were made by hand. 34 bottles of French Champagne were drank. 2 otto bins were filled with bottles. 1.5 hours were spent walking home in bare feet. 2 wonderful women had the best party party boom boom EVER.

UTS body works show

Another Absorb collaboration bore some beautiful fruit. In the words of Chiara "We used some interesting black dresses designed by the 3rd year UTS fashion students as well as a heap of Dinosaur Designs jewellery, and footwear and accessories by Stillier, Events and Carmen Steffens." There is a behind the scenes video and more on Absorb.

lisbon markets

Last week I was in Portugal soaking up the sun in Lisbon. There is a weekly flea market or as they call it in Lisbon a Thief's market. Not surprisingly I had no more space in my luggage so couldn't buy much of the tack that was on offer.

the vintage record

I was lady (in) luck this week when I shot The Vintage Record for their new website. It was a delight to photograph, everywhere I turned there was something new to look at. I'll be looking for a record player at the markets this week.

wisemans ferry

We took a trip to wisemans ferry and enjoyed the sunset for Dad's birthday. Leica stuck her head out the window 80% of the trip and Cory tried to eat some local dogs. A day well spent.

north rocks markets 13-03-11

If I haven't convinced you to come to the markets yet, I hope I can with this post. If yabbies ain't your thing, I'm sure playing with puppies is. If puppies ain't your thing then I'm sure clothes are. If clothes ain't your thing, then don't come to the markets.
